PreCash was founded in 1998 in Portland, Oregon with the vision of providing payment
options and opportunities not served by the traditional credit and debit card models. What follows

1999
PreCash signs with merchant Plaid Pantry and wireless service providers, GTE & AirTouch
AirTouch roll-out in November marks first payment processed between a merchant and an

PreCash launches its Vision Select Prepaid MasterCard card product, an authentic MasterCard
product that consumers can use everywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted
PreCash named as one of 50 top growth technology companies in Houston market by Houston

PreCash signs service providers Cingular, T-Mobile, Nextel, DIRECTV and Cellular One/Western
Wireless
2005
PreCash launches its Vision Preferred Prepaid MasterCard card product that allows the
consumer to pay a monthly fee rather than per-transaction fees
PreCash signs over 6,000 new merchants, bringing total merchant outlets to approximately
85,000
PreCash named to Inc. 500 fastest growing private companies and Deloitte Fast 500 lists
PreCash launches new Prepaid Refill product (ePINS) through its WebConnect merchant
application
2006
PreCash launches the Vision Premier Prepaid Visa program. For the first time ever, consumers
can buy an actual Visa card at a retailer, activate it in-store and use it immediately to pay a
deposit or make a purchase in-store.
PreCash launches with service provider Virgin Mobile
