Mobile Connections owner Sameer Aref has been using PreCash for approximately one year, since he
first opened his store, and introduced the PreCash prepaid option several months ago. He's a big
fan of PreCash in general and its prepaid system in particular.
"I have no complaints about PreCash," he said. "The system is working perfectly. I've never seen
a system like that, it moves so quick."
The introduction of the PreCash prepaid line has significantly boosted his foot traffic. "With
postpaid you see them once a month," he said. "I have certain customers I see every day with
prepaid. It brings them back a lot of times."
He said his customers like having the additional flexibility offered by prepaid options. "A lot
of time their credit's not getting approved to get on the postpaid phone plan or they would have to
pay a deposit," he said. "Or, customers don't use the phone much, so they just want to buy the
minutes as they go."
Mr. Aref likes not having to pay for prepaid cards on the front end. "I still have cards left in
stock from when I used to sell other prepaid cards before I got PreCash," he said. "With PreCash,
you don't have to pay for the card until you sell it, and I'm not stuck with any cards."
He sees about 150 customers a day, and nearly 100 percent of his customers use PreCash. He
estimates that he has about 350-400 postpaid transactions and about 200-300 prepaid transactions
per month, with about 700-800 transactions total per month.
"PreCash is a real good system to have."
